Kassa Hayselden is the cover star of the March 2017 issue of Craft Stamper Magazine!
Her simply amazing tag was created as part of the Stamping Contrasts feature, and is just full to bursting with wonderful layers and tonnes of colour!
I always think to myself, 'make a tag, you can finish it off in an afternoon' but, as with this one, usually they turn into a labour of love as I just adore adding tiny detail onto tiny spaces. When building assemblage style layers, I build as I go, slotting in allsorts of pieces between the layers. I never adhere anything fully as I can then slot things in at different points to grow the layers more naturally and change the balance of the design. Organic, spontaneous layers help me to create art that makes me truly happy!
