Keren Baker created this gorgeous house assemblage for Craft Stamper, using a wooden money box as the base.
“To me, the little wooden house looked like a lovely bird house. I wanted to give warmth to the project, so I cut up adhesive veneer into tiles to decorate the roof. I stamped the image onto card and softened the edges by sponging on the paint. The sponging helps to blend the imagery together and also hints at foliage. The paint was also gently dragged down the front of the house to give colour without too much intensity. To finish, I used small twigs and a cute stamped birdie to tie the piece together”
