Brenda says:

“When creating a project I often don’t have a picture in my head of how it will look when finished as unexpected things happen in the creative process and this project was no exception.

I knew I wanted create a shabby, time-worn piece, but had no idea how I was going to proceed, so I just began with the rusting technique and went from there. As I continued on, the design developed and I decided to incorporate vintage ideas, including the lovely photo of the child ballerina.

Creativity really does take courage sometimes, especially when mixing rusty butterflies and tutus!”
