She says:

“I always begin a project with an idea in mind; either a product I would like to use or a colour combination. In this case I really wanted to combine a paint brush and the fossil stencil in some way.

I love to use pieces from around the home or garden or even recycled/vintage pieces, in this make I used chicken wire from my garden and a recycled paint brush from around the house.

For me a project is all about layers, I love adding layers of paint, fabric, threads and stencilling. When making, I often stand back from my design and take time to think about the next step before proceeding.”
