Retailer Project: Darkroom Door
Four fantastic designers from Darkroom Door created stunning cards using the Mini Mason Jar stamp by Darkroom Door.
She says, “I love this sweet stamp so much and have teamed it up with the full size Mason Jar Frame stamp. They were made for each other!
Apply Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink to the Splatter stamp, spritz with water and stamp on the edge of white cardstock. Repeat until the edges are covered. Ink the edges of this piece with the same ink. Adhere to a black card base. Apply Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks to a stamp from the Watery Washes stamp set. Spritz with water and stamp onto a another piece of white cardstock. Use a soft wet brush to blend the colours. Flick Distress Inks over the background. Adhere this piece to the card front.
Stamp both the Mini Mason Jar and the Mason Jar Frame designs onto smooth white cardstock using Jet Black archival ink. Choose a flower from the Fine Flowers stamp set and stamp the smaller version of the flower in the small jar and the larger version in the larger jar. Use Distress Inks to paint the jars. Cut out and add to the card front using 3D foam. Stamp two butterflies from the Butterflies set onto white cardstock using Jet Black ink. Paint with Distress Ink, fussy cut and add to the card. Choose a sentiment from the Brushed Sentiments stamp set, ink with Jet Black ink and stamp onto white cardstock. Fussy cut and add to the card.”
