Objects from around the home are always fun to use in your artwork to add markings and texture to your background. As I decided to use a circular canvas in this project, I have added circular markings (made using paint lids) to echo that circular shape. When crafting a monochromatic mixed media piece, it’s important to take time to build up each layer. Each layer adds to the dimension and detail of the entire design.” |
