Delightful Highlighters by Paula Whittaker
A bonus project using Paula’s ingenious highlighter pen technique, as featured in the Aug 2012 issue.
Small Box
Additional materials (to those listed in the magazine):
- Tim Holtz Idea-ology: Hitch Fasteners
- Mini stapler
- Small Wooden Box (mine is 5.8cm square)
Work directly onto the box following the step-by-step instructions but after step 3, go over the box again with the highlighter pen. Stamp images onto the top of the box and then stamp just the stems joining up with the imagery on the lid. Cut some Filmstrip Ribbon to sit along the sides and staple into place using a mini stapler. To finish, add the washers to the front of the box and the hitch fasteners to the underside of the box as ‘feet’.
