Double Circle

Onto white card stamp and cut out the butterfly image with red ink. Punch out two circles, yellow larger than the blue, and stamp the butterfly image in yellow onto the yellow circle. Stamp sentiments onto both circles. Overlap the circles and stick down onto white card. Round the top left corner and mat onto yellow card. Attach the red butterfly using 3D foam pads. Finally mat onto the blue card base.

Using spray inks cover an A4 sheet of paper, dry, then re-spray areas with a stencil. Colour a card with Distress Inks as before and stamp with IndigoBlu Script stamp. Stamp the free vintage butterfly in Versafine Onyx and colour with pencils. Cut out and attach with charms. Attach ribbon to the sketchbook, then stick on the spray decorated card and finally the butterfly topper as shown.
Butterfly Circle

Onto white card stamp and cut out the butterfly image with red ink. Punch out a circle with a diameter of about 2” and stamp the sentiment onto it. Stamp a second sentiment onto a white card. Round the top left corner and mat onto yellow card. Create a ribbon embellishment and adhere it onto the white card. Place the yellow circle on top and then place the butterfly onto the circle with small 3D foam pads. Finally mat onto the blue card base.
Ring Box
Designer: Kay Halliwell-Sutton
Paint a wooden box with acrylic paints inside and out. To decorate, use the same tissue technique as for the Butterfly Couture dress form described in the magazine. Create a flower with tissue butterflies and attach a wooden painted button to finish.
