Peace - Designer: Saskia van Boom for De Stempelwinkel

Stamps used:
De Stempelwinkel - I Will Write Peace (N0509NS), Butterfly Silhouette (E0505NS), Butterfly Angel (Non Sequitur Plate 05)

Stamp the butterfly images randomly over a panel of cream cardstock measuring 18cm x 12.5cm, using a mustard inkpad. Stamp the sentiment in the middle of the panel and heat-emboss with red embossing powder. Use a corner rounder punch on each of the corners, then mark off the panel and cut into three sections as shown. Mat the sections onto a slightly larger panel of black card, rounding the corners of this as well. Score a vertical line between each gap and crease to create ‘flaps’ either side. Add red seed beads to some of the butterflies to add some interest. Mount the whole thing to a mustard panel, using adhesive on the central panel only, then round off the corners to finish.

Cut out ‘Discover’ and ‘Yourself’ from the cream card and adhere over the words on the card blank, as shown. Use the speckled stamp with cream paint around the edges, wiping some paint randomly on the card as well. Unmask the bird, wet its chest area and dab off again with a paper towel.
