Seeing Stars (free stamp makes)

A couple more stunning designs using this month’s fantastic free star stamp by Jo Capper-Sandon.

Twinkle - Designer: Jo Capper-Sandon

Cover the inside of a gate-fold card with pre-printed paper. Finger paint the outside folds with blue and white acrylic. Distress the card edges with scissor blades. Stamp the star all over a panel of pre-printed paper. Highlight some of these stars by stamping onto a page from an old magazine and sticking those on too. Distress the panel and glue as shown. Stamp the lower part of the Stampotique Great Moon (the part with the tiny star) onto the left hand panel.  Stamp the Stampotique Owl (and wing), Twinkle Twinkle (also Stampotique), and Great Moon, cut out, colour where shown and glue in place.

My Plans for Stardom - Designer: Joanne Wardle

Carefully remove the cover from a purchased notebook and cover with paper. Trim to fit and sand the edges. Use a craft knife for the holes and scrape the edges of the holes for a distressed look. Add scraps of torn paper and sand the edges. Stamp the star on the cover, and again onto copy paper. Cut out the centre of the copy paper star to create a reverse mask, spray the back with repositionable adhesive. Position the mask over the star and spray with Spray and Sparkle Gold Glitter. Repeat this randomly over the cover. Use star sequin waste at the edge of the front with VersaMagic Oasis Green chalk ink applied with Cut-n-Dry foam. Quickly wipe the excess ink off the sparkled areas. Add words made with a Dymo labeller. Reassemble the book.
