Another gorgeous Mother’s Day card made with versatile acetate, from Lousette.

Radiant Rosebud Card

(Materials as listed in the March 2011 issue)

1. Score and fold a sheet of A5 cardstock lengthways to make a tent fold card blank. Trim 1/3 off one side and replace with a piece of acetate. (Attach the acetate onto the inside of the card and hide the glue with a strip of pretty paper).
2. Stamp white roses onto a piece of coloured cardstock and cover the front of the card. Add some dots and a scallop edge in one corner and draw in faux stitching to form a border. Trim with a piece of lace.
3. Stamp and colour a rosebud. Punch into a circle and glue onto the acetate. Add stamped word. Punch a larger circle from coloured card and glue on the inside behind the rose. Stamp a sentiment on another punched circle and add to the inside of the card.
