Layer upon Layer - Designer: Liesbeth Fidder

Another beautiful stamped card design from newcomer Liesbeth, whose first Craft Stamper article can be found in our May 2010 issue.

Winged Woman

Materials…

  • Art Journey single stamps: Winged Woman
  • Art Journey stamp plates: Numbers; Nature 3; Bird Boy
  • Distress Inks: Peeled Paint; Shabby Shutters; Faded Jeans
  • Adirondack Inks: Willow; Cloudy Blue
  • Derwent Coloursoft pencils
  • Post-It Notes
  • Turquoise cardstock
  • White paper
  • Black card blank
  • Craft sheet

Press your Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters Distress inkpads, along with a little bit of Faded Jeans on your craft sheet and spray some water on it. Drag a piece of white paper through the ink on your craft sheet and let dry.
Punch a circle of Post-It Note paper and use it as a mask on the card. Sponge around it with Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint, so there arises a moon. Remove the mask. Stamp with black the branches and grass around the card and sponge the edges with black ink. Stamp also the numbers with Willow and Cloudy blue (Adirondack).
Stamp the Winged woman on another piece of paper, colour with Derwent pencils, cut out and add her on the card. Mat on turquoise cardstock and layer onto a black card blank.
