Book of Delights - Designer: Katy Fox

Why not try making some handmade things to include in Katy’s envelope book from the March 2010 issue?

Bag Charm

Materials Katy used…

  • Inkadinkado clear stamp set: Beauty Stems from Here
  • TandaStamps background stamp: Altered Polka Dot
  • Versamagic inkpads: Thatched Straw; Mango Madness; Red Brick
  • Archival inkpad: Coffee
  • Stampbord: domino-sized
  • Crop-A-Dile
  • Cut-n-Dry foam
  • Glossy Accents
  • Krylon pen: Copper
  • Charm
  • Findings

INSTRUCTIONS:
Why not add some homemade items to the envelope book I demonstrated in the March issue? For this bag charm, ink a piece of Stampbord with the Versamagic inks as for the book background panel, drying between layers with a heat gun. Over-stamp the dry background with the dots and swirl images in Mango Madness. Dry again. Stamp a portion of the floral stamp in Coffee ink, dry, punch holes and then glaze with Glossy Accents. Edge with the copper pen and add the charm and lobster claw using jump rings.
Other small items you could make which would fit in the envelopes could include shrink plastic earrings, a felt brooch, or a chipboard fridge magnet.

For the full project, check out the March 2010 issue of Craft Stamper.
