Angel Spring
Silver Landscape
|
A couple more lovely examples from our January 2010 issue Idea Gallery, the theme for which was ‘winter’.
Angel Spring Card
Designer: Susie Jefferson for Blade Rubber Stamps
Create a spring card following the instructions on Split Coast Stampers here. Stamp ‘I believe in angels’ around all four sides of the top diagonal panel and emboss in white. Stamp and emboss in white the snowflake (Blade Rubber) onto the sides and base. Using Weathered Wood Distress Ink, tint the card. Rub the white embossed areas with a kitchen towel to remove excess ink. Over stamp snowflakes with Brilliance Pearlescent Ice and Memories Metallic White inks. Stamp the angel image (Blade Rubber un-mounted stamps) onto a square of card and emboss in silver. Stamp and silver emboss the angel two more times – cut out a whole angel from one and just the torso from the other. Layer images using 3D foam and add to card.
