Merry & Bright - by Lousette Ashton

Use all of the same products as in the Merry & Bright quick Christmas makes project in the December issue of Craft Stamper, but simply change the colour of the main card blank to create a completely different look.

Additional materials...:

  • Stampin’ Up! cardstock: Confetti White; Close to Cocoa; Chocolate Chip; Old Olive; Pink Passion
  • Stampin’ Up! Inkpads: Chocolate Chip; Close to Cocoa; Pink Passion; Old Olive
  • Stampin’ Up! Punches: Oval; Oval scallop; Scallop Edge; Corner Rounder
  • Stampin’ Write marker: Close to Cocoa
  • Stampin’ Up! Grosgrain ribbon: Certainly celery
  • White gel pen
  • Self adhesive crystal jewels

Oh Christmas Tree Card

Create a square card blank from Confetti White cardstock and use the scallop edge punch to create a decorative edge on the front.
Glue a strip of Old Olive cardstock behind the scallop and distress the edge.
Layer three strips of coloured cardstock, distressing each edge first. Tie a length of ribbon around the strips and glue in place.
Stamp the sentiment onto Confetti White cardstock, punch and layer onto a scalloped oval. Glue in place using 3D foam pads.
Stamp the tree and star, cut out and glue down with 3D foam pads.


Poinsettia Swirl

Create a card blank from Confetti White cardstock. Stamp the swirl image onto the front of the card using Old Olive ink.
Stamp the poinsettia onto Confetti cardstock and trace around the petals with the fine tip marker pen.
Cut out and mat onto a strip of Chocolate Chip cardstock. Trim with strips of coloured cardstock and a punched scalloped edge.
Finish off with a stamped message and small crystal jewels for the centre of the flower.
