Here’s an additional project to complement Rachel’s gorgeous vintage travel-themed project in the September 2009 issue.

Travelling Couple Card
Additional required (in addition to those listed in the magazine):
White folded card, 17.8cm x 11.5cm (4 ½” x 7”)
Brown paper
Scrap of ‘shabby chic’ style scrapbooking paper
Pencil crayons
Bronze eyelet and setting tool


INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut ivory card to measure 11.5cm x 11cm (4½”x 4¼”). Mask a rectangle with sticky note. Stipple with Caramel and Vintage Photo. Add franking (Cavallini), postage stamp (Stampington) and flourish (Autumn Leaves). Remove mask and stamp Travellers in Vintage Photo. Add colour with crayons, and stamp corners (Paris Postcard set). Stamp ‘Explore’ (Darkroom Door) on scrap of paper and add an eyelet. Created gilded script on torn piece of brown paper using Old Writing Flower Collage stamp and method described in steps 8-9. Assemble the elements on white card, and add pearls.
