Stamper of the Year 2009 Competition

It’s that time again, and we are proud to announce the launch of our 2009 Stamper of the Year competition! Could it be you?

Fabulous prizes!
Stamper of the Year Overall Winner wins over £1250 worth of stamping goodies including a subscription to Craft Stamper. PLUS the chance to write articles for Craft Stamper magazine!
Best card wins a selection of Do-Crafts goodies, plus a year’s subscription to Craft Stamper magazine worth over £100.
Best non-card creation wins a great selection of Art Specially books, plus a year’s subscription to Craft Stamper magazine, worth over £100.




How to enter:
Create three stamped items. These can be anything you want. This competition is open anyone, working in any style from cute cardmakers to altered artists – anything goes.

Then you can either:

Send us actual artwork: Complete the coupon in the September 2009 issue of Craft Stamper magazine (photocopies acceptable) and send with your creations clearly marking the packaging ‘Stamper of the Year Competition’.

Or:

Email high resolution images (300dpi) of your entries to cs@traplet.com making sure all the attachments total no more than 4mb in size and that you include your contact information. Please note: if you are shortlisted we will need you to send in the actual items for us to see so please make sure you keep your entries safe to send to us should you be asked to do so.

  •     Quality of stamping and finish

Rules:
See page 78 in the magazine for our main competition rules. This competition additionally has the following rules:
You should not enter any work which has been published in a magazine or which is being considered for publication.
Entrants must be amateur stampers, by which we mean that you should not earn a regular income from your stamping work either via publication or teaching.
All submissions must be your own original artwork and must include stamping.
Only one entry per person will be accepted.
One prize only will be awarded per person. The main prize consists of all the items shown less the prizes allocated for the runner-up categories.
No responsibility is accepted for entries which are lost or damaged in the postal system. We regret that we cannot acknowledge receipt of entries.
Projects submitted by post cannot be returned to you unless an SAE is enclosed.
The overall winner will be guaranteed one paid commission for Craft Stamper magazine at the standard rate. Further commissions are at the discretion of the Editor. The winner is not under obligation to accept the commission.
By entering, you grant Traplet Publications Ltd copyright over your entry, and agree that we can publish your work in any of our literature, including, but not exclusive to, our magazines and websites.
The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
