Tear a piece of frosted shrink plastic, shrink then stamp dragonfly onto frosted side using white StazOn. Using green markers, colour on the reverse side. On the right side add purple to the leaves on the wings. Use a silver glitter gel pen to colour the antennae and body. Stamp spirals around the dragonfly with white StazOn. Make a notebook using the papers, cardstock and a Bind-It-All machine. Before assembling stamp leaves (from Aspects of Design No.29 stamp sheet – Flitters and Flutters) onto the top left corner of the patterned paper using black StazOn and colour with a green marker. Decorate with Prima flowers and brads.

Repeatedly stamp dragonflies and spirals onto smooth white card using white StazOn and allow the images to dry. Apply green and olive inkpads to a brown non-stick craft mat, spritz with water and dab the stamped card into the wet ink. Allow the card to dry then stamp the dragonflies using Pearlescent Crimson and Graphite Black Brilliance inks. Stamp Judikins Mince Flourish using black StazOn around the edges and stamp the word ‘dreams’ from Aspects of Design No.29 un-mounted stamp sheet. Stick to black pearl cardstock.

Cut a piece of patterned paper just smaller than ATC size. Stamp a branch (Inkadinkado) at the top left in green and colour the leaves with ink and a water brush. Stamp a small portion of the branch at the bottom right to create balance. Stamp the dragonfly in Eggplant ink and go over the design on the wings with a Sakura Stardust pen. Add a wording stamp. Distress the edges of the paper with scissors. Mat onto an ATC sized piece of card.
This month’s free stamp was designed by Kay Carley on behalf of The Stamp Man, www.thestampman.co.uk. Visit their website for more of Kay’s gorgeous ‘Aspects of Design’ stamps.
